The Department of Community Resources and Services will be conducting an annual survey of homeless persons in Howard County who are residing in sheltered and unsheltered environments. The survey is conducted to better understand the needs of homeless individuals in the community and provide data to local, state, and federal government.
Howard County Point In Time is in need of volunteers to go out in teams of 3-4 to designated locations, where we believe unsheltered homeless persons may be located to conduct surveys and connect individuals to resources and services. Training will be provided and is required of all volunteers.
Volunteers will be needed on January 28, 2020 from 3-10 pm.
Volunteers will be outside, therefore please dress accordingly and please bring a flash light.
