Winter Coat Drive Collection 
Community Resources and Services - Special Events/Projects


The Howard County MultiService Center, a division of the Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services will be hosting its annual Winter Coat Drive and is in need of volunteers to help collect, sort, and organize the donated winter coats and accessories. The coat drive has been very successful in past years, with providing coats to over 300 people annually. This is a VERY impactful and necessary event that will provide people of the Howard County Community essential items to stay warm during the winter months. If you are looking to make a positive impact in someone's life, please consider volunteering.

- Collect donated coats that are brought in from the community to the MultiService Center
- Sort items
- Organize items

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move items, materials, etc.
- Must have good customer service skills
